>Blisters. Stomach Sickness. Heat Sickness. If this was the Winners Circle in the $100,000 pyramid, you’d say, “Things that can ruin a vacation.” But we’re not playing that game with Dick Clark or Donnie Osmond. We’re talking about things can make an

otherwise wonderful day in one of the parks miserable. And not just for the person that is having the problem, but for the rest of the family too. So, what do you do? Do you leave the injured behind on a bench or do you go with the Lilo and Stitch, “ ’Ohana means family and family means nobody gets left behind.”? Well, leaving someone behind opens the door for all kinds of grief, A. you’ll never hear the end of it. B. Guilt will get you and C. Next time it could be you! So, what now? Do you cut the day short? No need. If you’re not in the parks, but in your Resort, you can get medicines and first aid supplies from the gift shop near your lobby. If you are in one of the parks and you are having health issues, you can use an Unknown Magic to hekp with the problem. It is the Unknown Magic of the First Aid Station.

This Unknown Magic is located in all the Theme Parks, and both Water Parks. The First Aid Stations are staffed by registered nurses and “Presented by Florida Hospital.” You can stop into any of these mini-health centers during the day for help with any assortment of minor health issues. Connected to each of the health centers, there is a baby care center. (If you have any major health issues, you can always notify a cast member and they will find you help. Also throughout the parks there are the automated external defibrillators.)

The First Aid stations can provide the Magical Experience of relief when you need it. They offer a wide variety of help. They can provide you with band-aides and medicines for discomfort and pain. These wonderful places are also air conditioned and they have the coldest water in the parks. The funny thing about the first aid stations is, that except for Disney Hollywood Studios, none them are near guest relations in the parks. They are kind of hidden in their respective parks.
The Crystal Palace is to the right of this area.
For the First Aid Station in the Magic Kingdom, you need to go to the little area off to the side of the Crystal Palace, off of Main Street USA.

For the one in Epcot as you walk toward World Showcase, from Future World, there is a walkway that goes out to a neat looking building. This is the Odyssey Center. The Baby Care Center and First Aid Station are located in this building.

In the Animal Kingdom, It is a building kind of across from Discovery Island, and down from Pizzafari. It is the
last building on your left before you go across the bridge into Africa.

As I said earlier, the First Aid Station in Disney Hollywood Studios is located near guest relations, which is to your immediate left as you enter the park.
So, now you know, if you’re in a park and you’re not feeling well or start to get aches and pains from doing too much, stop by the first aid station and get help from the Nurses and cast members there, so you can continue on with your day and create many Magical Experiences.
