One of the Most Magical things in Walt Disney World, Especially for little girls is Magic of Cinderella, Snow White, Jasmine, and the other Princesses. The Fantasy of being a Princess is a $4 billion Dollar industry for Disney, which means they are a huge part of the Magic Kingdom. In the Next few years, they will be an even larger part of it, as Disney is expanding Fantasyland to include areas for all of the Disney Princesses and Pixie Hollow, a place for Tinker Bell and her fairy friends. This will make Fantasyland even more Magical. But right now, there is an Unknown Magic that is here in Disney World that many people pass through, but very few take the time to make it a Magical Experience. This Unknown Magic is the Courtyard behind Cinderella Castle.
Getting to the Courtyard can be a Magical Experience of its own. To get there you should walk through the Castle. When you are walking through the castle, there is a doorway that leads to one of the bibbidi bobbidi boutiques and another that leads to Cinderella’s Royal Table. As you walk through the castle though, take the time to look at the walls. There are huge murals on them. If you take the time to look at them, you will see that they are Mosaics of the story of Cinderella. They were all handmade and are very exquisite pieces of art. After you walk through the Castle, and take a look at the murals and the décor (notice the Doors- there is something special about them), You come to the courtyard which is today’s Unknown Magic.

The Cinderella Courtyard is home to a very pretty little fountain, The Cinderella Fountain, which has a statue in that portrays Cinderella and her animal friends. It is a peaceful  fountain that seems to capture the simple Cinderella, before she became a Princess. If you look at this Statue from in front and slightly upward, the background design which looks like a crown seems to be placed on Cinderella’s head. This Statue is connected to Castle Couture. This is the place that you need to go to, to outfit your little Princess. Across the way is Sir Mickey’s a store more suited for the Knights in your family.
For most people this courtyard is just a way to get from here to there. They run through the Castle to get to Fantasyland and get their Peter Pan Fast Pass or maybe they just rush to get to the Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh, but either way, they miss this area which is a nice little place. If you take your time and look through the castle and then enter this Courtyard, you will find plenty to create a Magical Experience, especially for a little Prince and Princess.
