I enjoy a good laugh. When my father was still with us, he always had a joke to tell; sometimes ones that should not have been told in mixed company and sometimes ones that were not politically correct. But that is something we always had between us. When he passed that was one of the biggest things I missed. I now teach fifth and sixth grade and I have a fourteen year old son. With the kids at school you have to watch their humor. They sometimes get a little crude and push the boundaries when they can. My son understands when not to share his thoughts on certain things, he is a good kid and he has learned when he should watch his language around his mother and teachers.

The reason I bring this up, is because I don’t want anyone to think this post is going to be inappropriate. I know the title is suggestive, but this Unknown Magic is one that everyone needs to know about. It may not give you a Magical Experience, but if yoy are pregnant or with little ones it may help a lot. This leads me to the Unknown Magic of the Hidden Bathroom.

Walt Disney World has the cleanest theme parks in the world, bar none. Anytime you turn around, there is a cast member sweeping up the street or making sure things are clean. This goes for the bathrooms also. They are very clean, most of the time. Even with as many people as visit the parks each day, they are considerably clean. This is not the problem with the bathrooms. The problem with the bathrooms in Walt Disney World is the amount of people in them, at one time. Some of them, for example the ones between Frontierland and Adventureland, are always packed with people. So, what do you do? Well, there are bathrooms that are basically hidden in every park, that you can go into and basically have the room to yourself.

In the Magic Kingdom, there are bathrooms next to the Plaza Restaurant at the end of Main Street USA. These are usually busy, but right up from here at the Tomorrowland Terrace Noodle Station, there are bathrooms that are all the way in the back of the restaurant off to the side of the ordering lines. These bathrooms are very small, but most people don’t know that they are here. Tucked in around the corner from It’s a Small World, behind Pinocchio Village Haus is another set of hidden bathrooms in the Magic Kingdom.

Over in Disney Hollywood Studios, most people know about the bathrooms located at the very front of the park, off the side of Hollywood Boulevard, and the ones near Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster. But there are many restrooms that many people don’t know are available to them. Like the ones down Mickey Avenue, past One man’s Dream, before you get to Pixar place, or the set of bathrooms hidden behind the Sounds Dangerous building. In Animal Kingdom, a lot of the bathrooms could be considered Unknown Magics, because many of them are
hard to find. This Park is very large and spread out, so sometimes finding a bathroom is an emergency. Rest assured; there is at least one in every area in the park. And two at around the Oasis as you first enter the park.
Over in Epcot around the World Showcase, there is not a bathroom in every country, so they are a little busier. All of the restaurants throughout the World Showcase do have a bathroom in them though. In Future World, there are bathrooms located on both sides of Spaceship Earth as you walk into the park and a few scattered around the other pavilions. There is one that is tucked in behind Mousegears as you are going towards Test Track that seems to be used a little less than others. Epcot in my mind
does have the best hidden bathroom at the Disney World Parks and it really isn’t in the park at all. It is just outside the gates at the International Gateway. I talked about this area a few days ago in the post “Have a Seat part II”. These bathrooms are very seldom used and they are cleaned continuously throughout the day.

So, now you know, if you have little ones or are pregnant, or just need a clean place for yourself, there are bathrooms throughout the Disney Theme Parks that are not as crowded and a little nicer than the rest.
